Soil improvers

Soil improvers ensure a good nutrient supply and sufficient organic matter in the soil. This stimulates the root hairs and improves nutrient absorption. In general, soil improvers have a positive effect on soil health or other soil properties.

A good soil improver nourishes the soil optimally

Bacteria keep a soil healthy. These micro-organisms secrete substances that improve soil quality. For example, the substances bond soil particles together, causing them to retain water. You can see the soil itself as a sponge, and the bacteria make that sponge optimal.

Functions of bacteria are:
1. Decomposition of (simple) organic material (sugars, proteins, amino acids)
2. fixation and delivery of nutrients in the root zone
3. Binding of nitrogen from the air

First..... a vital soil!

A vital soil is the basis for a beautiful and healthy crop. A well-developed soil helps with the development of the plants and their roots, ensures good water management and an airy soil structure. And just as important: a vital soil ensures more biodiversity!
